In place of the ailing Axar Patel, Faf du Plessis led Delhi Capitals and opted to field after winning the toss. Expressing sympathy for his teammate, du Plessis remarked that Axar had been dealing with a severe flu for the past two days. He added that they all wished him a speedy recovery and acknowledged that his absence would be felt in today’s game.
Madhav Tiwari and Mukesh Kumar will be stepping in for DC, replacing T Natarajan and Axar.
