LSG’s Nicholas Pooran maintains his position as the top scorer, having accumulated 189 runs with an impressive average of 63.00 and a strike rate of 219.76. He delivered a solid performance of 44 runs against PBKS, following his outstanding innings of 75 runs from 30 balls against Delhi Capitals and 70 runs from just 26 balls against SRH.
Sai Sudharsan of GT has advanced to the second spot following his impressive 49 runs off 36 deliveries against RCB. Prior to this match, Sudharsan recorded scores of 74 and 63 in the previous two games. With a total of 186 runs, he is currently only three shy of Pooran’s tally.
Ranked second on the orange cap chart is Jos Buttler, also a member of GT’s batting lineup. In his position at No. 3 this season, he displayed an astounding performance on Wednesday evening, with a match-winning score of 73 runs off just 39 deliveries to guide GT to victory. Overall, he has accumulated 166 runs with an impressive strike rate of 172.91.

Currently playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2025, Noor Ahmad has earned the prestigious title of being the purple-cap holder. Demonstrating his remarkable left-arm wristspin, he has taken a total of nine wickets – outshining his teammates R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, who have only managed to secure a combined total of four wickets. Noor’s impressive performances include figures of 4 for 18, 3 for 36 and 2 for 28 so far.
Noor, who currently holds the top spot, has eight wickets under his belt while Mitchell Starc of Delhi Capitals (DC) is just one wicket behind him. In his first game against LSG, Starc was costly as he gave away 42 runs for three wickets. However, he redeemed himself in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and achieved his personal best T20 performance with figures of 5 for 35.
The current standing for third place shows a four-way tie. R Sai Kishore, who claimed 2 for 22 against RCB, has now accumulated six wickets in three matches. Similarly, Josh Hazlewood and Shardul Thakur from RCB and LSG respectively, along with CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed, also have a total of six wickets each under their belts.
