Lucknow Super Giants opted to field first against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Rishabh Pant, captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), chose to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Hyderabad after winning the toss.
Pant stated with a grin that regardless of the number of runs they score, we will successfully pursue them.
After securing a dominant victory against Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, with a total of 286 for 6, the second-highest in the IPL, SRH is now gearing up for their next game. Meanwhile, LSG faced a close defeat against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam, despite holding the lead for much of the match.
LSG made two changes, bringing in Avesh Khan and Abdul Samad while opting to leave out Manimaran Siddharth and Shahbaz Ahmed. Meanwhile, SRH stuck with their original lineup.
Expect the likes of Adam Zampa for SRH and Mitchell Marsh for LSG to join their respective XIs as Impact Players in the second half, with both teams having already named three overseas players.
The current game is taking place on a new, red-soil field. This particular pitch was utilized a few times during the previous IPL, resulting in all four innings scoring over 200 runs. The square boundaries measure 69 and 67 metres, while the straight boundary spans 79 metres.
Due to the low humidity and minimal temperature drop, it is unlikely for dew to factor in.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad lineup includes Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan as wicket-keeper, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Aniket Verma, Abhinav Manohar, and Pat Cummins as captain. Completing the team are Simarjeet Singh, Harshal Patel, and Mohammed Shami.
The potential Impact Players include Adam Zampa, Sachin Baby, Jaydev Unadkat, Zeeshan Ansari, and Wiaan Mulder.
The Lucknow Super Giants have announced a strong lineup for the upcoming match, featuring Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, and Rishabh Pant as captain and wicket-keeper. Also joining them are Ayush Badoni, David Miller, Abdul Samad, Shardul Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Digvesh Rathi, and Prince Yadav.
Some of the possible options for Impact Players are Mitchell Marsh, Himmat Singh, Akash Singh, Shahbaz Ahmed, and M Siddharth.
