The IPL 2025 Orange Cap remained unchanged, however, there was notable movement on the Purple Cap table following Wednesday night’s match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Kolkata. Let’s take a look at both leaderboards.

MI’s Suryakumar Yadav maintains his position as the top scorer in the league with a total of 510 runs from 12 innings. Close behind is B Sai Sudharsan of GT, followed by GT’s captain Shubman Gill, who has accumulated 508 runs from 11 innings.
RCB’s Virat Kohli is close in rank, with 505 runs, while GT’s Jos Buttler holds the fifth spot with 500 runs.

Josh Hazlewood, from RCB, is currently ranked third with a total of 18 wickets, which is equal to Trent Boult’s record from MI. Additionally, it should be noted that Hazlewood maintains a more impressive economy rate.
Following his impressive performance at Eden Gardens, KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy has climbed to fifth place on the leaderboard with a total of 17 wickets in 12 outings.
